Daughter Ossie and Inez (Alley) Beal. Owned and operated Rumery Seafood for over 30 years Owned ceramic shop. Loved arts and crafts, cooking, and watching the food network. Enjoyed flowers, gardening, and watching the birds on her deck. Member of the Order of Eastern Star. Married to Craig Rumery 42 years. Four sons with first husband, Arlin Crowley: Raymond, Colby, Troy, Oscar, and Harvey. Grandchildren -Christopher , Frank, Luke, Ashley, Brittany, Josh, Courtney, Stephanie, Alan, Kennneth, and Brandon

Born in Newburgh, NY to John Albert and Mary Jane (Keevill) Wersebe. Graduated from the College of General Education, Sargent College, and Boston University with a degree in physical therapy Worked at healthcare centers in Tenn, NY, Mass, and Maine Active in the communities she lived in, with a special focus on animal welfare. Served two terms on the state animal welfare board . Served Maine State Society board for the protection of animals, Maine friends of animals . Testified on numerous hearings in Augusta on behalf of all animals. Founder of the Jonesport animal assistance society . Served Ark Animal Shelter board and pet society . V.P. and secretary of Worcester-Sawyer Agency Licensed real estate broker Married: John V. Sawyer II Had three children: Susan, John III, and Daniel III

Angelina Alley Smith

Parents: Donald N and Lizzie D. (Peabody) Alley Husband: Leon "Bud" Smith Angelena loved playing jokes on her family members. She attended Beals schools as well as Prospect Harbor schools during her frequent visits with her Aunt Belva and Uncle Elmer. She graduated from Beals High School. Angelena was always immersed in crafts. Three of her favorite activities were crocheting, knitting, and sewing. She has sent many articles of baby clothing to hospitals for use in the NICU. Her most recent project was an afghan this winter. She loved cake decorating and baked many birthday cakes for her young grandchildren over the years, making character and themed cakes. She also took great pride in designing wedding cakes for many couples. Angelena married Leon "Bud" Smith soon after high school. They were married for 71 years. Together they loved taking weekend trips to go antiquing, as Bud loved to please his "Angie Babe" and see her beautiful smile. Angelena was a member of the Advent Christian church. Children: Patti, June, and Timothy Grandchildren: Sandi, Kristi, Tricia, Kate, Kai, Seth, and Ross. Great grandchildren: Ella, Maya, Brevan, Makenna, Cooper, Callie, Caydence, Casey, Amir, Gabriel, Solomon, Maggie-June, and Chase. Predeceased by her husband, Bud; a 2 1/2 year old daughter, Betty Ann; daughter, June Griffin; and grandson, Toby Jay Carver.
Leon "Bud" Roscoe Smith, Jr.

Parents: Leon R. and Gladys (Kirby) Smith Married Angelena Alley, his wife of 71 years
Belonged to Beals Advent Christian Church Developed a love for lobster fishing at an early age.
Bud, enjoyed telling of the biggest halibut he and his brother Robert caught. It was one of the largest caught in town - weighing inwith a 400 pounds live weight. Attended Jonesport schools and graduated in 1946 at the young age of 16. Enlisted in the Navy in 1948 and was called to active duty, for 1 year, when he married Angelena. They enjoyed antiquing. He will be remembered for his pond full of ducks, his sweet and friendly spirit, his wonderful sense of humor, and his willingness to always help another fisherman in need. Built a family cam at Schoodic, using hand tools alone.
Member of Jonesport Lodge #188, where he served as Worshipful Master from 1963 - 1964 and Senior Deacon from 1965-1972. Received his 50-year pin. Served on Jonesport's planning board.
One of the brother's who operated Smith's Lobster after his father passed.

Elmer Wesley 'Herky' Wilcox
6/22/1933 - 12/8/2017
Son of Ralph and Grace (Peabody) Wilcox. Married Frances Jean Matthews, of Newport Maine, on November 23, 1957. Graduated from Beals High School with five students in the class of 1950
Received the nickname of "Herky" from the comic strip "Herky and His Gang". Spent four years in the US Navy as an airman Returned to Maine and attended the University of Maine under the GI Bill, majoring in Civil Engineering. A pillar of Newport where he worked for the State Of Maine, Department of Transportation and for Wardwell and Sons. Loved hunting (anytime day or night) camping, softball, golf, bowling, horseshoes and fishing with family and friends
Children: Scott, Stephen, Shawn and Suzanne Grandchildren Sarah, Peter, David, Baylee, Breanna and Caitlyn, and Elena.
Frances "Jean" Wilcox

Married Elmer "Herky" Wilcox on November 23, 1957 . Avid candlepin bowler; bowling in two leagues and helping her team win the state championship in the late 1970's. She and Herky spent much of their lives together fishing, hunting, camping and traveling . Ultimate bargain hunter, never passing up the opportunity to stop at a yard sale, dollar store or Goodwill store Children: Scott, Stephen, Shawn and Suzanne Grandchildren Sarah, Peter, David, Baylee, Breanna and Caitlyn, and Elena.

Married Donald Stuart Williams Faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God in Jonesport Maine Loved God and her family . Children: Barry R. Williams, John W. Williams, Grandchildren: Douglas Simning, Daniel Simning, Donald Williams, Anna Williams, April Eaton. Great-Grandchildren: Abigail Smining, Bella Siming, Hailey Scott and Darren Williams
